Best deals of the week!!

I had a blast at the first-ever Frugality Boot Camp!  Jordan did such an amazing job putting the entire event together and it was a fun day filled with helpful financial information, motivational speakers, cute craft ideas and lots of yummy food!  I will keep you posted for when the next one will be--it was super fun and I would love to meet more of you!!

I taught the ladies how to save money on groceries, meal plan, etc. I started off my presentation playing a game where I showed the groceries (above) and had a list of this week's 'red deal' prices next to the products. They had to match up the sale price with the item to see how good they were at knowing good deals vs. great deals. It was a riot!  The ladies had a fun time trying to guess what the good deals were.  We had a good discussion about saving money on groceries. My number one tip is you need to be aware of what prices to pay for each item. If you don't use our service, that's okay.  Just keep track of what items sale for at their lowest prices and learn to only buy them at those rock-bottom prices.  Many of us wander around the grocery store and throw items in our carts without knowing whether or not it is a good price. You might as well throw your money down the toilet. Without knowing, you could pay $9 for a block of cheese instead of $4.38!  That's over 50% savings.  It pays to be an informed shopper!

Thankfully, for many of us who are too busy to compare prices, that's what our site is here for--we do ALL of the work for you!  On just the above items you would save over $15 off of Walmart's already low prices (that's 3 months membership fees on 12 items..not bad :)  Now..don't just buy one of each item, buy as much as you can afford and keep in your freezer/food storage so you will save money all year by not having to buy these items again at full price! Login to our website to find out which items you should be stocking up on this week in your area! Have fun shopping and saving money :)
